Call for Professional Dancers and Performers. Hagit Yakira is looking for professional contemporary dancers and performers for her new production with rehearsals starting in the summer and continuing in the autumn of 2012.

Performances to be starting at the beginning of 2013.

Hagit will lead a workshop which will be an opportunity to meet potential collaborators. The workshop will take place on the 10th June from 10.30 till 2.30. Please note that attendance is by invitation only.

This is an unpaid opportunity.

Jose Campos is looking for dancers to take part in a performance in June and to begin rehearsals immediately.

This project is the practical component of my Masters at London Contemporary Dance School and requires dancers that are skilled in improvisation and can reflect critically about their experiences in the studio.

The work we do in the studio will be using video and improvisation to investigate new ways of generating choreographic material.

A sharing will be organised for June but no date has been set yet. Rehearsals will take place Saturdays and perhaps weeknights if necessary.

This is an unpaid position but a great opportunity to perform and meet other like-minded artist.

For the dance theatre production STIMULATION OVERLOAD by Kirstine Ilum/ Somatic Noise, we are looking for 1-2 experienced male dancers/performers.

You should be an open individual having an urge for contributing to the creative process. A person with strong, physical stage presence who has the willingness to experiment with extreme physical movement, theatre, voice and improvisation.

Adaire to Dance are holding auditions for new dancers. We are looking for male and female dancers to be involved with our next project Coffee Shop Culture. You must have a strong contemporary technique and an enthusiasm for creating new and innovative work.

Bristol Collaboratory is looking for Dancers Fri 14 - Fri 20 July Bristol. Dance Chora is looking for exceptional dancers for The Collaboratory. Dancers should have good contemporary technique and be open to experimentation.

What is Bristol Collaboratory?

The Collaboratory is a seven day, intensive, peer-lead Choreographic laboratory for professional choreographers. The Collaboratory will be lead by three internationally established choreographers: Fleur Darkin, Mark Bruce and Charles Linehan.

The Collaboratory will culminate in an informal sharing of works-in-progress at the Colston Hall attended by an audience of key individuals from the dance sector and artists, venues and promoters.

The Collaboratory are looking for fifteen exceptional dancers to work with a diverse group of professional dance makers from Fri 14 - Fri 20 July. The Collaboratory will focus on a creative process of research and we are looking for excellent dancers.

The Collaboratory will culminate in an informal sharing of works-in-progress at the Colston Hall attended by an audience of key individuals from the dance sector and artists, venues and promoters from the region.

Criteria:
You must be able to work in the United Kingdom
You must be able to take part in the entire seven days of the intensive (Fri 14 - Fri 20 July)
You must be over 18 years of age
You must have trained at a reputable dance school/undertaken a practical degree in dance for at least 3 years OR have a comparable amount of professional experience

Apprentice Professional Performers required for Royal Connections Site Specific Performance at Orleans House, Richmond upon Thames - Professional Development + £150 Fee Paid

Needlefoot is a new dance organisation which creates site-specific projects inspired by the history, myth, culture and architecture of heritage sites and other unusual locations, which combine dance and other artforms.

Needlefoot has been awarded a commission by London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to create a site-specific performance as part of their project, Royal Connections, which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The performance will feature young professional performers and dancers from Hampton Academy and will take place in Orleans House, Richmond, and its grounds on 18 May 2012.

Performer Requirements
Needlefoot is looking for six recent graduates / professional performers in dance and physical theatre who are experienced at devising and performing work using a mix of dance, text and physical theatre. Previous site-specific performing experience would be an advantage.

Contract
Five days (see dates below)
Fee: £150 for five days. No travel expenses will be payable.
The project will include mentoring and professional development for the contracted performers by the Needlefoot creative team during the rehearsal week.

Performers must be available for all of the following dates - please do not apply unless you are available for all of the following dates/times:

Supported by Arts Council England, NWGDC will create original and exciting work to tour the region and will offer training in Teaching and Learning as well as develop Business and Entrepreneurial skills to support a career in dance.

Keneish Dance is a fresh company founded in 2009 by Keisha Grant combining African Contemporary and Contemporary Dance with visual arts. Keneish will embark on it's first full length production to tour Autumn 2012 which will include a rework of the sculptural installation piece 'Its like a thorn in my side', and is seeking strong female Africa Contemporary / Contemporary Dancers to join the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong physicality, performance, Theatre skills with a natural sence of musicality.

Rehearsals will commence in July at Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham. Followed by 6 - 9 performances (UK) between August and October. The first performance will be the opening ceremony for Billingham international Festival on the 12th August.

Rehearsal and performance fee paid with assistance with accommodation for those traveling from outside Birmingham.

Qdos Creates is currently seeking two performers (male or female) to play teenagers in a devised performance that explores the theme of aspirations aimed at young people. The tour will take place in secondary schools and other youth venues.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, versatile and motivated performer who will contribute fully to all aspects of a devising process and touring production. Strong dance technique, drama, and workshop leading skills are essential combined with a passion for working in educational settings with young people. We are particularly interested in individuals that have skills in urban dance styles such as street, break dance and hip hop.

The successful applicant will have at least one year's experience of working in a performance/arts capacity and a degree in a related subject.
