Without doubt YouTube, the online video site, is swamped with footage that is an absolute waste of storage space. But if you look very hard you can find some excellent examples of the good folks in this cynical world spreading the joy.
One man in Sydney, Australia is spreading the love by spending one day a week giving free hugs to citizens. Juan Mann has been doing his good dead for two years but was almost put out to pasture when local bureaucrats said he needed insurance in-case he hurt somebody with a hug.
A collective ‘oh good grief’ from the Sydney public and 10,000 signatures on a petition soon put the red tape sour-pusses in their their place however.
Check the video below, make your own sign and go spread the joy!!
The video has been watched over 7 million times on the Tube which gives us some hope for that site.
