Opening Night is a contemporary vaudeville show, in which an aging performer (Mark Tompkins) and his young protégé (Mathieu Grenier) speak to us of the universal themes of life, love and death through their tragicomic song-and-dance numbers. This performance was recorded at the Coda Oslo International Dance Festival in Oslo Norway during the 2015 festival. Coda is a biannual gathering featuring dance companies and a huge array of dance performances from across the world.
